Sunday 11 June

We put our watches back last night and this morning we wake up at 6.10! It is a bit breezy but 26 degrees 😎. We decide to go to the gym early. Haven’t been able to watch the cricket but get updates on our iPads.  Still could go either way. While we are in a strong position we have seen too many tests where the Aussies cannot finish it off. We are still off Arnhem Land, I think the captain must have dropped a sea anchor, we are cruising at 17 knots.

Our team did well at trivia with 17 out of 20. We are on the improve.

We had our best meal so far last night. I started with chicken satay skewers, Ann had a pear, peacan and blue cheese dish. For main course we both had wok fried prawns in Leuna honey with black bean sauce, noodles and some vegies. For dessert Ann had the starter again and I had a New York cheese cake with vanilla ice cream.

At lunch time we are off Melville Island heading towards the Timor sea. The direction we are heading means we are not getting the afternoon sun, but it is very pleasant sitting on the balcony with a glass of red wine and some cheese. In the sun it is very hot. It is 27 degrees.

We have a table of eight tonight and everyone gets on well. We are feeling a bit tired and will have an early night.  Another sea day tomorrow.
