Another beautiful morning, although a little cloudy. Still 28 degrees at 8am light breeze and smooth seas. Very busy area we are in as ships are passing on both sides.
Today at about one o’clock we will pass over the equator and they have the passing the equator ceremony where travellers who have not previously done so have to request the permission of King Neptune. They are smothered in all kinds of crap from spaghetti to cream etc and then hosed off. We have seen it before so we give it a miss.
There are not many wearing masks on the ship, there are a few but less than 50. We wear one when we are in the princess theatre otherwise you can keep your distance apart from dinner. We are aware of a few Covid cases on the ship. The giveaway is a small table at the front door. I assume this is for the leaving and retrieving of meals. We saw three in our corridor today but they were some distance away from our cabin. Hopefully we can stay clear.
When we head to bed after dinner it is 29 degrees. Tomorrow we will arrive in Singapore, Ann is planning on some shopping!
