This morning is a bit better than yesterday. It is still overcast, but the wind and sea have died down and it is not raining, but it is only 9 degrees! We have slowly sailed in to the Norwegian Sea and will reach Iceland tomorrow. It will be another relaxing day at sea.
The internet has been terrible since we left Dover with drop outs and taking ages to download anything. Trying to access accounts etc is becoming difficult as you are timing out while waiting for your login to progress. Apparently they are due to change providers and will go to star link in mid August.
When exercising this afternoon in the gym Ann spots a pod of dolphins about 150 metres off the ship. They are slowly swimming away from us. Later on in the afternoon it starts to get foggy again, not thick fog but banks of fog off in the distance. Just after 5 pm our fog horn starts up. It looks quite pleasant outside until you go outside and it is freezing, 9 degrees all day!
At 9.30 pm the light is the same as it was at 7.30 am! Sunset is at 10.41 pm.
Lovely gift from Kirk our travel agent, but don’t think we will have a balcony dinner in Greenland.
