Had an extra hours sleep last night with the clocks going back another hour. This morning the temperature is 9 degrees, light wind and smooth seas with a lot of cloud about. During breakfast a pod of about 10 dolphins swim past the bow and down the starboard side. An enthusiast with binoculars and a picture book about marine animals tells us they are Atlantic white sided dolphins.
Later on in the morning we see another smaller group. The wind has picked up with choppy seas and it is bitterly cold in the wind. Cullen and Jazlyn, I still had an ice cream! It is 11 degrees at noon. The pool area looks bleak and deserted. We have a coffee just after 4 pm and the temperature is now 10 and going down. The cloud is breaking up with occasional sunny breaks, but the wind chill factor cancels out any warmth from the sun.
