Saturday 2 September Somewhere in the South Pacific

We continue cruising through the South Pacific. Have seen nothing but ocean for the last four days. Easter island is over 3600 kms from Chile. Pitcairn island is another 1900  kms further west from Easter island. The weather is looking promising for tomorrow, 21 degrees and easing winds from 17 to 5 kmph. The size of the swell could still be a problem. Easter Island or Rapa Nui operates on Chile time, even though we are over 3600 kms away, as a result at 7 am this morning it is pitch black. Although it is cloudy today it was probably around 8.30 before there was sufficient day light to see anything. It was very dark in the gym when we started, but the temperature has not moved off 20 degrees. It is the same when we wake up, during the day and when we go to bed.

It is a pleasant afternoon, the sun has broken through the clouds and it is still 20 degrees. I have given the gym a rest this afternoon, my knee is taking a bit longer to recover from the morning walk so I need to pace myself 😂. I am resting on the balcony while Ann enjoys her afternoon walk.
