This morning it is only 17 degrees! We have a light wind about 10km, slight sea and overcast with occasional sunny breaks. We are heading into the Irish Sea on our way to Holyhead, Wales. Yesterday the pool area was practically deserted, but there were a few hardy souls trying to make the best of the occasional sun breaks. We are amazed at the number of people who lie out in the sun for most of the day. They look like large dried raisins.
We achieved 16 out of 20 for Trivia, but the host has a hat with numbers in it and one guest pulls out a number and that will be the winner for today. The number pulled out is 16! We are one of 12 groups with the same score. No one else in our group is keen to represent us, so I go down. The tie breaker question is how many songs did the Beatles record? We have to write down our answers and then the host reads them out. I wrote down 325 as did one of the other winners. The correct answer was 213! So close.
The gossip going around the ship is that there has been somewhere between 9 and 11 deaths so far!
We had the Captains Circle Party tonight where we learnt there are now over 900 elite passengers on board. No wonder it takes at least 4 days to get the laundry back. Tonight we decided to open a bottle of port as it is only 16 degrees! It is a lovely port.
