No luck last night with the Northern Lights. I got up at 1 am and 2 am but both times it was cloudy with not much visibility. We had heard yesterday that someone had got a photo of the lights and had posted it on Facebook. Turns out it was the cruise director Aaron who could not see it with the naked eye, but it did show up in the photos from his iPhone!
This morning it was 9 degrees cloudy, flat seas and no wind. By the time we had completed our walk, a light wind had picked up. By breakfast time it was raining and just 10 degrees. Then the fog rolled in again.
We are at sea for today and tomorrow sailing through the Labrador Sea on our way to Corner Brook Canada. It lies on the Newfoundland island. By lunch time the fog has lifted but it is very cold, 11 degrees, colder then Greenland!
