Friday 15 September At Sea

We both had a great night’s sleep not waking up until after 7 am. This morning is cool, only 15 degrees. We are continuing to head SW at 15 knots. We have a southerly wind of 40 kmph with a choppy sea and a building swell. It is mostly sunny with some cloudy periods.

The weather deteriorates during the afternoon with wind and swell increasing further and rain storms coming through. We are due in Auckland tomorrow morning so we hope the weather improves for our last few days.
